Kim Kardashian Banned from the Met Gala by Anna Wintour?

Poor Kim Kardashian: She just can’t get any respect! What’s a reality star to do? Monday’s Met Gala was one of the biggest, star-studded events in the industry, with tons of A-list celebrities walking the red carpet in gowns that rivaled any seen during Hollywood’s awards season. Yes, the Met Gala is THE event to see and be seen, and the (always fashionable) Kim Kardashian wasn’t there? What gives?

What gives, is that somebody with a lot of power most likely left her off the guest list — on purpose. And that somebody might be the host of the event, Vogue’s Anna Wintour. Uh oh, if Anna doesn’t like you, you’re going to get blacklisted from these kinds of major events. Kim Kardashian’s boyfriend, Kanye West, did attend the Met Gala (without Kim on his arm) and that got tongues wagging. Was Kim being shunned?

It sure looks that way. Kim K. said she was super-busy in California, supporting and promoting her Sears clothing line and attending family photo shoots. She had no time to attend such a mega-event. Yeah, right. Anyone else not believing that story either?

According to Radar Online, Anna Wintour “hates Kim” and personally made sure that Ms. Kardashian was not invited to the Met Gala. Ouch! Some celebrities are able to secure an invitation by purchasing a $25,000 ticket, but even that wouldn’t be enough. Radar Online quotes a source as saying, “Anna Wintour does NOT want her there!” And what Anna Wintour, one of the most powerful women in the fashion industry, wants, she gets. And that’s a Kim Kardashian-free Met Gala.

Poor Kim. That’s pretty mean and rather sad. She’s as much of a “celebrity” as many of the other young women walking the red carpet on Monday night.

Kim Kardashian Tweets Sexy Lingerie Photo

Every now and then, Kim Kardashian feels the need to remind all of us that she’s smoking hot. Sure, she’s an extremely wealthy businesswoman, a mega-star in the world of reality TV and now, Kanye West’s girlfriend — but she’s also a gorgeous woman. After weeks without any new Kim K. bikini photos, fans hit the jackpot when Kim started tweeting out extremely sexy photos late last week!

Fans who love Kim Kardashian would be totally crazy not to follow her on Twitter. When Kim is tweeting out pics wearing some sort of black bondage-style lingerie, people want to see. That’s exactly what she did on Friday night, adding, “Gluten free is the way to be.” If anyone wondered how Kim keeps her amazing figure, that’s a good clue.

Here’s the thing: That photo that Kim Kardashian tweeted out? It’s an old shot. Well, not too old, but it’s definitely not recent. In the picture, Kim has noticeably blonder hair — not the dark locks she’s so famous for sporting. The last time Kim K’s hair was dyed blonde was about two years ago. Not that anyone who saw the photo cares — the hair is probably the last thing that got noticed!

Kim sent out several additional sexy photos, though in the others, she’s showing a lot less skin. In one particular photo, she bears a striking resemblance to Jennifer Lopez (especially with the blonde hair and the Louboutin shoes).

What prompted Kim Kardashian to tweet out all her racy pics in one evening? Was it boredom? Maybe she just wanted to sweetly remind her boyfriend Kanye that they need to get together again real soon (he’s in NYC, Kim’s in L.A.). Or maybe she’s considering going blonde again!

Kim Kardashian Tweets Ghostly Photo in Scott Disick’s Car?!

Kim Kardashian definitely keeps her Twitter followers up to date on almost every move she makes, so it’s no surprise that she recently tweeted out a photo of her sitting in Scott Disick’s new car. And what a car! Disick, Kourtney Kardashian’s baby daddy, has a slick-looking Audi R8 that is — get this — chrome plated! Yeah Kim had to snap that pic in that sweet ride, didn’t she?
What initially freaked everyone out when they saw the Instagram photo of Kim Kardashian in Scott’s car was the super-creepy, eerie image of what looks like a young girl in the background. The spectral-looking image is in the upper right-hand corner of the photo, pretty much hidden in the shadows. But apparently, a ton of Kim’s millions of Twitter followers flipped out, thinking Kim had a ghost watching over her as she chilled out in Scott Disick’s (very) expensive and (very) shiny new car.
So, what gives? Does Kim K. have a ghostly new friend? Hardly. A few hours later, Kim apparently noticed several tweets from people wigging out about the creepy pic and she set the matter to rest. Kim explained that the “ghost” is actually an old, cardboard cut out of her sister, Kourtney Kardashian, when she was a little girl.
Oh — so that explains it! But wait: Isn’t it a bit strange to have a cardboard cut out of Kourtney just propped up in the family garage, decades later? And what gives with the chrome all over that beautiful sports car anyway? Yikes!

Kim Kardashian Heads Back to L.A. After Whirwind Week in New York

Poor Kim Kardashian: The reality TV star looked postively miserable as she arrived in Los Angeles after leaving New York City (and boyfriend Kanye West) behind yesterday. Kim’s spent a week in NYC with her new man, Kanye West, and the two seemed pretty much inseparable for much of that time. Before she left, Kim enjoyed a nice, drama-free dinner with her sisters, Kourtney and Khloe, and their significant others, Scott Disick and Lamar Odom. Now, it seems, it’s back to reality.

Kim K’s home base is California, no matter how much she probably wishes it was New York right now. Are Kim and Kanye getting serious? She must be smitten, judging from the photos taken by paparazzi as she arrived home to Los Angeles. Kim Kardashian almost always manages to at least crack a small smile when photographed, but she looked so depressed and down as she got ready to leave. She looked beautiful, wearing those sexy black leather pants again, but even high fashion and a Hermes bag can’t help when you’re missing someone.

Maybe this whole Kim and Kanye thing IS more than just a publicity stunt. Maybe Kim Kardashian genuinely loves Kanye, or at least likes him enough to miss him terribly when he’s not around.

Once Kim got back, she did what any self-respecting Kardashian girl would do: She headed straight for a Beverly Hills salon for a little pampering (and pouting). Hopefully having her nails done cheered her up a bit. And come on, let’s get real here: Kim will probably be seeing Kanye again really soon, right? It’s not like these two can’t afford to fly cross-country on a whim anytime they can!

Kim Kardashian and Sister Khloe Take Chicago By Storm!

Kim Kardashian and her younger sister, Khloe, are busy bees, promoting their new clothing line for Sears. On Thursday, the Kardashians flew to Chicago — and they definitely drew a lot of attention. Kim and Khloe Kardashian are appearing at the Sears store at the Woodfield Mall, where their new Kardashian Kollection of merchandise (including clothes, accessories and more) is sold.
For fans who live in the Windy City, this is a great chance to meet Kim K and Khloe in person. There’s only one catch: You have to be one of the first 200 people, and some crazy fans camped out overnight (in the freezing cold) to get the chance to meet the lovely Kardashian ladies. Boo!
One thing that’s worth noting here: Photos of Kim Kardashian leaving the Los Angeles airport (for Chicago) show she’s gone a bit too heavy on the self-tanner. Honestly, she looks orange! Anyone who’s ever used self-tanning products knows that it’s pretty easy to go overboard. Before you know it, you’re the color of a (rotting) fruit and the color just looks really fake. The idea, Kim K, is to go for a more natural look — and this is definitely not natural. The Birkin bag looks great, but with the orange skin, it’s way too Halloween.
Dear Kim: In the future, try to skip the extra coats of spray or self-tanner. If Kim wants a great, tan, look, why not jet off to some island with her new boyfriend, Kanye West? Goodness knows, they can both afford it!

Kim Kardashian Talks About Her Favorite Fashion Icon

Kim Kardashian is a lot of things: reality TV star, girlfriend of Kanye West, former scandal star — but she’s also a fashion forward woman. Kim and her sisters have managed to build an impressive fashion empire with their clothing and jewelry collections and with their super-successful DASH stores. Obviously if someone asked Kim K. about her favorite fashion looks, she’d likely say something Kardashian-designed, right? Sort of.
Kim Kardashian also admires other celebrities’ styles, naming Jennifer Lopez as someone who represents the best of the best when it comes to hot clothing. Surprised? Probably not. JLo’s flashy style is similar to Kim’s look, and the two women do share a similar build. Kim K. told US Weekly,

“I would love to raid so many celebrities’ closets, but I think Jennifer Lopez’s would be amazing.”

What woman wouldn’t want to play around in JLo’s closet, trying on all those over-the-top sexy outfits?
But Kim Kardashian also admires another fashion icon — the Queen of Pop music, Madonna. Kim K. says,

“I think Madonna’s closet would be amazing, just all the pieces she’s had for many years.”

Madonna likely has given some of her most famous outfits to museums, at this point, but Kim would likely be thrilled to pick through the leftovers!
It’s great that Kim has her own fashion idols for inspiration, but considering how well she’s doing with her own fashion lines, she might want to stay in her own closet. Each time she steps out, whether it’s at a Hollywood party or simply out to dinner with her new boyfriend, Kanye, she’s a walking advertisement for her clothes!

Kim Kardashian, Politician? Kim K Announces She Wants to Run for Mayor!

Sometimes, stories just write themselves: Such is the case with the latest news about Kim Kardashian. The reality star has apparently decided that she’s not content being just a celebrity and TV-show star. Kim Kardashian now wants to get into politics, by running for mayor of Glendale, California!
Is she serious? Apparently, yes. In an upcoming episode of “Khloe and Lamar,” Kim Kardashian is overheard telling her sister, Khloe, that she really wants to run for office. She even mentions that her friend, Noelle Keshishian, can run her campaign. There’s only one small problem: Kim points out that in order to run for mayor of Glendale, California, you actually have to live there.
Fortunately, in Kim K’s mind, at least, there’s a workaround. Kim explains to Khloe that, “For real, Noelle is going to head my campaign but it’s going to be like in five years. So I have to buy a house there, you have to have residency there.” Look out, Glendale, a Kardashian’s moving in!
Why Glendale? Kim Kardashian, who has Armenian roots, notes that Glendale, California, does have a fairly large Armenian population. Would they vote for her? Would anyone? Would you?
Of course, Kim has a long way to go before she can actually start her Glendale mayoral campaign. She does have to purchase a home there and establish residency, but you can bet the folks over at E! are already planning a brand new reality show. Stay tuned for “Keeping Up With Mayor Kim Kardashian!”
