Residents in the posh, gated, Miami neighborhood of San Souci gave the green light for Kim Kardashian and company to film ‘Kourtney & Kim…’ in a rented mansion in the neighborhood. The rental cost? Around $300,000. This is a pretty common practice for reality TV shows: They come in, rent some fancy digs for their stars to live in for filming purposes, and then, when the filming is over, they split. Sometimes there are issues — and that certainly seems like the case where Kim and Kourt are concerned.

The biggest issue seems to be a parking problem. One of the San Souci residents is furious that Kim Kardashian’s crew is parking in front of his house. He’s gone so far as to offer Kim’s producers a vacant lot as a parking area — for a steep price ($500/day). That’s crazy!

At least in this case, the whole fracas isn’t Kim K’s fault. Strangely enough, the crazy involves the actual neighborhood residents. In fact, according to the VP of the San Souci Home Owners Association, Richard Otero, Kim Kardashian and her sister, Kourtney, “are more than welcome” in the neighborhood. Otero went on to say that both are “considerate and very professional.”

Not surprisingly, Kim Kardashian says she wants a smaller, less flashy wedding the next time she walks down the aisle. Given her disastrous marriage to Kris Humphires (after a big TV wedding of course), that makes sense. Kim said, “…the next time, I want to do it on an island with just my friends and family and that’s it.” Yes, friends, family and the producers with all of the cameras, too! But really Kimmy, please try to hold off on speaking about your next wedding until you are divorced, okay? It’s tacky.

In the same interview, Kim Kardashian opens up about what she doesn’t like when it comes to guys. Her biggest turn off? According to Kim, it’s “Anything to do with bad hygiene, like teeth or nails or big ears.” Totally understandable, except for one thing: Big ears aren’t really a hygiene issue. That seems more…genetic? Either way, big-eared guys need not apply to become Kimmy’s next main man if she and Kanye West don’t work out!

Kim Kardashian has definitely earned the title of world traveler, and now she’s hitting up Australia this week. Of course, Kim was down under for a promotional appearance. Not surprising, is it? She’s definitely taking the Aussies by storm and getting a ton of major media attention.

Earlier this week, Kim was in Sydney, where she paraded before the paparazzi at the E! Brand Evolution event wearing a slick-looking, figure hugging silver dress. Less than 24 hours later, Kim Kardashian was in Melbourne, Australia, where she hit up the swanky Silk Road nightclub wearing another eye-catching dress — this one by famed designer Alexander McQueen. Neither one of the sleeveless dresses were overwhelmingly awesome. Is Kim losing her fashion flair?!

Kim Kardashian is also giving a lot of media interviews while she’s visiting Australia, including one that could very well stir up some major controversy. When asked who she’d trade lives with, if she could, she said Jesus Christ. Really, she absolutely did. Why would Kim K. want to be Jesus, you ask? She said, “…it would be pretty fascinating to see the power that he had.” Here that sound? That’s the sound of Kim’s momager, Kris Jenner, imploding.

From a sex tape with Ray J. to Jesus: That’s a bit of a stretch, Kim. The thing is, if Kim Kardashian had said she’d want to trade lives with Jesus because he was a wonderful person who did great things, that would probably come off a bit better. But no: Kim wants to be Jesus because of his great power.

Expect a lot more fallout from this statement in coming days.

Kim decided to give all of her Twitter followers a preview of her new, much blonder look, when she posted an Instagram photo, saying “Blonde hair don’t care.” The color is gorgeous, but will fans like it? Kim Kardashian is a stunner with dark hair, and it’s hard to tell from the photo whether the new, much lighter shade will compliment her skin tone and her gorgeous, dark eyes.

This is a drastic change for Kim Kardashian. She’s lightened her locks this much only once before, in 2009 (after she split from Reggie Bush). This new look is much more than just highlights, judging from the photo she provided. Taking Kim K. from brunette to blonde had to be a tough task for her colorist, because lightening very dark hair can be extremely challenging.

Just when you thought all the Kardashian drama this week would be focused on Kim Kardashians’ nasty divorce from Kris Humphries, guess what? It’s not! A well-known adult film actor has come forth, claiming that he had a threesome with Kim and another female porn star more than a decade ago.

And we’re shocked, why, exactly? Kim Kardashian was just 20 at the time, and, despite being married at the time, probably more than a little wild. According to RadarOnline, porn star Julian St. Jox says the tryst happened a swingers party back in 2001 at the Wyndham Hotel in Los Angeles. Did Kim hit the party with her then-husband, Damon Thomas? Possibly. St. Jox says Kim was with a “black male.” St. Jox claims his date, porn actress Emily Ann, propositioned Kim K. and then things progressed to a private room and a good bit of adult activities.

Forget the Ray J sex tape: Where’s the Kim Kardashian threesome video?! That’s highly unlikely, given that Kim wasn’t really famous at that point. For the record, Kim Kardashian’s rep says this threesome story never happened, but you never know, right? Kim does have a history of being a bit freaky in the bedroom, so the story really isn’t all that surprising.

It seems that Kim Kardashian’s divorce from Kris Humphries is going to take much longer than the couple’s 72-day marriage. Much, much longer. Divorce proceedings for Kim K. are going at a snail’s pace, and that can’t make Kim (or boyfriend Kanye West) very happy. A hearing was held in Los Angeles on Wednesday, and Humphries’ attorney said he probably wouldn’t be ready for a trial for “at least four months.”

Four months?! What’s the holdup? Apparently, Kris’ lawyer says Kim Kardashian and her family are to blame, because they haven’t exactly been forthcoming with information. Kris Humphries is trying to prove that Kim never intended to actually marry Kris in the first place, and that the entire thing was nothing more than an elaborate (and expensive!) sham.

Things got even freakier when Kim Kardashian’s attorney told the judge that Kris’ attorney tried to serve a subpoena to Kanye West via a Nordstrom department store box. Because really, that’s how ALL A-list celebrities are deposed, right? If we needed proof that this entire Kim K. divorce drama was a circus, this is it.

At this point, it could be 2013 before Kim Kardashian is officially a divorced woman — and that’s being optimistic. It doesn’t look like either side is going to budge, and the judge in the case set the next court date for late-November. Looks like any plans Kanye West had for an elaborate engagement and wedding are postponed, indefinitely, until his lady love is single again.

Now, a new report quotes an anonymous source as saying that Kris Jenner was actively “involved” in getting the best deal possible for the sale and distribution of Kim Kardashian’s sex tape. Does that sound like the Kris Jenner we know? You bet it does. Kris’ status as a bad mom isn’t improving, especially not with allegations like this!

According to the source, it was Kris Jenner’s job to make sure the sex tape made it to the best adult entertainment company possible (see: Vivid Entertainment). If this is true, Kris is one of the sickest, greediest people ever. Her daughters are beautiful women, and she might be acting like a straight-up pimp!

Does Kris Jenner care? Probably not. After all, she’s laughing all the way to the bank each time one of her girls inks a lucrative deal of any kind — including a settlement, years ago, for a sex tape “leak.”

Kim Kardashian is a bit of a diva at heart. Shocking? No, it’s not. But she took her “divaness” to a whole new level recently, posting a series of photos and comparing herself to none other than iconic Italian actress Sophia Loren. No really, she did.

Kim K. was apparently in the middle of yet another photo shoot, and she decided she’d go old school glam. In a few of the photos she tweeted, she explained that she was “finding” her inner Sophia Loren. Sophia was the epitome of beauty, grace and talent. Kim has the beauty, but the jury’s still out on the grace/glamor bit.

Yes, Kim Kardashian can glam it up for photos, but does she have that star quality that Loren oozed? No. Not even close. And she certainly doesn’t have the acting talent that Loren demonstrated during her decades-long career. Sophia’s acting abilities earned her an Academy Honorary Award and led many to call her “one of the world cinema’s treasures.”

Kim Kardashian, one of reality TV’s greatest treasures? Somehow, that doesn’t have the same ring to it. Kim is correct to idolize Loren as a role model, but she’s going to have to work just a bit harder to earn that kind of comparison.

Hot on the heels of the news that Kim Kardashian’s boyfriend, Kanye West, might be planning to propose marriage once her divorce from Kris Humphries is finalized, comes word that he may also want to control Kim in general. Example, you say?

A new report suggests that Kanye West isn’t happy about Kim Kardashian’s recent quick slim down (she dropped seven pounds in one week — and that’s not easy to do). Kim is a regular at the gym, and she’s constantly trying to improve her famously curvy physique. Kanye doesn’t like it, apparently.

What Kanye West wants, he almost always gets, and Kanye wants Kim K. to stay curvy and voluptuous. A family insider claims that Kanye told Kim he “missed her love handles,” adding that he “can’t understand why she has lost weight when she knows it’s not the look he likes.” What the heck?!

Kim isn’t letting Kanye stop her from hitting the gym and keeping up her weight loss. This seems like one of those areas where Kanye needs to back off, quickly.

Here’s the thing: Kim Kardashian’s curves are natural, and they’re part of who she is — with or without weight loss. Obviously if she gets too skinny sure, the curves won’t be as prominent. That might not look good. But Kim’s nowhere near that point, so why not leave the girl alone and let her continue with a healthy weight loss plan that involves eating right and working out?

Hopefully Kim Kardashian will keep up the best, healthiest weight loss regiment for her — one that makes her feel good, and helps her stay relaxed amidst all the craziness of being a Kardashian. Kanye? Cool it!

If you didn’t know the name Pam Behan before, you will now: Behan is the former Kardashian family nanny who’s writen a “tell-all” book about her time with the family ten years ago. Behan was on hand to help raise Kim Kardashian, her sisters Kourtney and Khloe, and their brother, Rob Kardashian, so she certainly knows all the family’s biggest secrets. She also thinks Kris Jenner was a pretty rotten mom!

In her book, Malibu Nanny: The True Adventures of the Former Kardashian Nanny, Pam Behan says that Kris (then Kardashian, now Jenner) basically lived her life through her kids, prepping each one for stardom (particularly her daughters). Remember the claims a few weeks ago that Kris Jenner pushed Kim into making the Ray J sex tape to get her famous? This seems pretty close to that! Behan says of Kris:

I believe she was grooming her children for their current celebrity status their entire lives… She always wanted what’s happening right now – the show, the magazines, the fame, the unending talk, so I think she’s living her dream right now.

And what does Kris Jenner have to say about this? She readily admits she is very involved in her kids lives. In an appearance on ‘Good Afternoon America,’ Kris said:

I’ve spent many years of my life being pregnant. And for me to raise them and say goodbye to them when they are 18, just isn’t going to work for me. I’ve managed to have the best family dynamic that I can.

Does all the involvement in her children’s lives make Kris Jenner a bad mother? Not necessarily — to a point. It’s one thing to love your kids and to want to help them succeed and thrive, but it’s quite another to be all up in their business and control them 24/7. Eventually, that kind of involvement will make the kids resentful, rebellious and reckless!
